Why did Elle do such a poor cover for the September issue featuring Jessica Simpson? And whats wrong with her eyes? The outfit is hokey to say the least, and completely irrelevant to the trends for Fall fashion. Past covers with Jessica have been well thought out and executed. Just because Jessica is their number one celebrity that generates the most sales, does not mean they can slop together a cover and expect it to sell.

I completely agree. There's actually an older issue of Elle (maybe 2006?) with JSimp on the cover wearing something very similar...they need some new ideas and a more relevant cover model (with talent!)
