This titty twirling burlesque club has no yet opened but soon will in Nolita. Nolita is the Manhattan neighborhood to be, as new boutiques, restaurants and spas are opening left, right and center. L.A born Ivan Kane Forty Deuce is backed by part-owners David Bowie and Sting, who collectively want to bring glittering pasties and pub style dining together.
As most are thrilled with the idea of another burlesque joint, others have been partitioning against the preliminary construction of Forty Deuce. Several doors on the corner of Elizabeth and Kenmare have been wall papered with reasons as to why this “seedy” bar should be resisted.
