Bargain Shopping at Barney’s warehouse sale at 255 West 17th street is a little like being admitted into a mental ward. At every turn in the massive arena of fashion heaven there are droves of unlady- like ladies grabbing, shoving, swearing, stripping and stealing one another’s finds. And who wouldn’t? With discounted designer’s pieces at 50-70 percent off retail.
On the floor in the corner of the makeshift changing area I spotted this metallic glamour piece by Phillip Lim. I grabbed it from an unsuspecting shopper who unfortunately turned her back for a second.
The sale commenced today at 10am and goes until Sept 1st.
