My Goodness, My Guinness

Just who is Daphne Guinness? She is a couture-fixated collector, style icon, film producer and British heiress of the Guinness brewing family. Her signature baby blonde hair and bold black highlights, Daphne serves as an inspirational muse for several fashion designers and photographers. Her obsession over armor has said to come from Surrealists as she has been constructing a jewelry metal arm as part of a four-year project. The extravagant arm is made out of silver chain mail with a piece over the hand.
As for her Haute Couture collection? She prefers couture because of the investment of time. Such as the engagement process of the several fittings a garment entails, therefore couture clothes last much longer because of the craftsmanship that goes into each piece.
Currently Daphne Guinness is working on a documentary with Phillip Tracey about the late Isabella Blow who took her life in May of 07.
Never trendy but also theatrical, Daphne Guinness brings a lavish sense of Marie Antoinette into a modern day world of cheap fixes and fads.
