Karl Lagerfeld will be shooting the Spring 09 Chanel campaign in Vermont this weekend. Cathy Horyn lets us in on the location, which was undisclosed until now:
"I saw Karl Lagerfeld the other day, at Milk Studios, where he was shooting the Fendi campaign, using pieces of furniture against a backdrop of photos of classical Italian sites. This week he and his crew are in Vermont, on Lake Champlain, where he has just bought a 1840’s house and where he will do a photo shoot with Chanel. I made one or two diner suggestions. Lagerfeld, who decorated one of his early Paris apartments with American quilts, said he might put some of the Biedermeier furniture he’s collected (and which is in storage) in the Vermont house."
