Designer's celebrate Fashion's Holy Grail

We loved that we shared a cab from Bryant park to Balthazar with Suzy Menkes during New York fashion week. It would of been ideal if we just had the gumption to speak to her during our surreal ride to Soho.

This past weekend a soiree was thrown in her honour, as Paris celebrated 20 years of Suzy Menkes's position as journalist for the International Herald Tribune. John Galliano, Alber Elbaz, Jean Paul Gaultier among others paid homage by re-creating a famous Bob Dylan video, flipping through cue cards with words like "integrity," "workaholic," "witty," and "lovely hairstyle."
